Clary Sage Essential Oil (Salvia sclarea) is steam extracted for us from this gorgeous herb. Aromatherapists know Clary Sage as a great tonic for the nervous system and the female reproductive system, so it is most often employed in the treatment of conditions like depression, anxiety and hypertension, as well as for painful periods, irregular or light periods and even for relaxation during labour. Clary Sage Essential Oil can also help with menopause symptoms like hot flushes, night sweats and palpitations. Try a little in your burner if you are suffering a bout of insomnia.
